OK we lost, I can accept that but the last action of that game left a very bad taste in the mouth. Waldrom knocks on clear as day and yet the referee didn't seem to see it as he didn't indicate advantage to us. Incompetence is a bad way to end a game that meant so much to both sides. The farcical yellow card for Bourke and the non-card for Taumalolo are other reasons to feel bitter today.

We were only in the lead in the closing minutes courtesy of a peach of a try to Delany, created by Bourke and these two combining to prevent what looked like three certain tries to the Magpies.
