Mafia Plans

Overview:

We plan to have a strong Mafia presence at each game. You can do your part by encouraging people to sign up and contribute to the recruitment drive of the Mafia. We have well over 600 members at the moment... but the majority are based overseas or outside of the BoP!

Encourage your friends to sign up... or simply send us their contact details! Recruit amongst your friends, family, workplace, clubs, churches, everywhere where BoP fans lurk.

We will have Hori & Honki BOP to lead us both home and away. If sufficient Mafia numbers show interest we will attempt to organise bus trips to away games or convoys.

We need volunteers in each of the major Bay centres to help us drive recruitment through leaving flyers in key public places. We are especially short on "known" activists in Whakatane and Edgecumbe. (We admit, we should ask for your location when you sign up...) Songs, chants, suggestions for banners and volunteers for face painting are also sought. Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to offer your services in the great cause of Bay of Plenty rugby.
