Bay Of Plenty Steamers Head Coach, Kevin Schuler and his Assistant, Steve Miln, have named their 2008 Air New Zealand Cup Squad.
The selection of the Steamers squad follows an extensive off season training program, which included the Bay of Plenty Sub Union series, and the recently completed Wasps and Bay XV fixtures.

The third piece of
the puzzle that will lead to the selection of the Steamers (and the Bay
Development team) took place at Opotiki today (18 June 2008).
A Bay of Plenty
fifteen defeated Poverty Bay 41-24 in a game of frenetic action. Playing under
the new rules, both sides took a little time to adapt to the pace of the game,
with plenty of tap and run.

assistant Steve Miln have named their Squad for matches against The Waikato
Harlequins in Hamilton on Wednesday 4 June (kick-off 6pm @ Waikato Stadium), and
a Hawkes Bay Saracens in Rotorua on Tuesday 10 June (kick-off 6pm @ Rotorua Int.
Stadium).
