A stroll in the park for the Bay after 3 first half tries ended the game as a contest. Hawke's Bay did not muster a single attack in the first half and the Bay won easily without playing all that well, twice early on they butchered tries. A quarter-final is now assured barring a huge defeat at Manawatu next week and a huge win for Hawke's Bay over Counties. It is now time for Bay fans to watch the Top 6 battle it out and try to work out who will finish second - a win over Manawatu will guarantee us "7th place".
