Know Your Friends

These people and organisations are of great value to the Bay of Plenty Steamers, and to the BoP Mafia in various guises. The Mafia believes in helping to return the favour. So without further ado and in no apparent order:

Bob Clarkson & the team at Baypark/Blue Chip Finance Stadium
Bob Clarkson is the man behind the building of BayPark which has become a home ground for the Steamers. Without his substantial private investment this marvellous facility simply wouldn't be there. Now under cover and under lights.

Rotorua International Stadium aka Hangi Pit and their events management staff.
A long serving home ground of the Steamers, it is the famous historical site of victories over Australia and Dirty Scumbag Waikato. While not being allocated as many games as it has previously, this is an excellent ground to watch rugby at and we can only hope that future games in Rotorua get the crowd numbers and atmosphere that this venue deserves.

Speights
Where would rugby be without a beer sponsor? Cheers to
Speights for all their good work with Bay rugby.

Canterbury of New Zealand
Official clothing sponsors of the Steamers! One of their Bay jerseys is an essential fashion item for any self-respecting wardrobe.

Bay of Plenty Polytechnic
Their Windermere
Aquatic Centre is a regular training and recovery venue for the Steamers players. You can also study sports and leisure there in the heart of BoP country.

Global Fitness Club
The Steamers work out
here!

Bartley Internet and Graphics
The organisation behind the BoP Mafia website and tee shirts, you'll have to overlook the fact that Whangamata is just outside the Bay boundaries. BartMan is the technical genius who backs up Donsteppa & Kiwipie in their website updates,
check them out for your website needs.
