Bile sure to put smile on one coach's dial
Bay of Plenty Times
Written by Bay Badger
Saturday, 30 August 2008
By the time you get your weekly dose of Badger droppings, one team will be trudging off the luxurious Cake Tin turf in Welly-wood as competition leaders.

Up in the coaching boxes, Bay boss Kevin Schuler will either be rattling his rosary beads in delight, or Wellington assistant Andre Bell will be dancing a quiet jig, his cheeky grin on his face.

Add the three pre season wins, and seven on the trot for the reborn Steamers.  Odds on that at the TAB pre season would have been worth putting a bob or two on!!

This week though, a massive speed bump for the mighty gold and blues, the other unbeaten team in the NPC, Wellington.  Not Waikato, who have yet to win a match this season...
