It's official!! The plane has been chartered and it is all on - a flight to Dunedin, a chance to see Otago play in their brand new stadium and then onto Invercargill to secure top spot in the ITM Cup and the RANFURLY SHIELD.

The trip is through our old friend SHANE KENNEDY of House of Travel Tauranga and his trusted sidekick DEBRA with me Hori BOP as your host. Along with the BOP Mafia, we have flicked the switch to send a charter plane down to Dunedin and Southland for the Steamers last game of the round robin and quite possibly Southland's last game as Shield holders.

It has taken a massive effort by Shane and Debra who were responsible for the highly successful and popular charters to Canterbury 7 years ago for the NPC semi-final and the year after to challenge for the Shield. They are very competent at these events so let's go!! 

RIGHT there are 84 seats available and we must fill all 84 seats. This charter will just break even, there's no fat and we are talking to sponsors to help out. We will fly direct from Tauranga to Dunedin, coach transfers to your hotel and then attend the Otago/Canterbury game at 6.30pm on Sat 27 august in the BRAND SPANKING NEW STADIUM - then party all night.

Next morning on Sunday after a hearty Southern breakfast its on the coach and of to Invercargill to watch the Mighty Steamers smack the stags all over Rugby Park at 2.30pm. We will then collect our Shield, coach back to dunedin and fly directly home to TAURANGA. 

A bonus feature will be HORI THE HIGHLANDERS (Hori BOP's cousin) protest march from the Octogon to the game in Dunedin to protest against their disastrous decision to change the Highlanders from BLUE AND GOLD to puke green without even an if you please - who the hell do they think they are anyway? We will continue to Southland even if he gets arrested and will pick him up on the way home, by that time they will pay us to take him.
