Update - Chiefs went down 31-21 to the Blues. Tries to Nanai-Williams, de Malmanche and Messam. 3pm this Friday is Chiefs v Hurricanes in Rotorua - see you there.
The Chiefs team to play the Blues at Albany on Friday (5.30pm kick off) is as follows.
Sona Taumalolo, Hika Elliot, Nathan White, Craig Clarke, Culum Retallick, Jarrad Hoeata, Luke Braid, Sione Lauaki (captain), Brendon Leonard, Mike Delany, Dwayne Sweeney, Callum Bruce, Richard Kahui, Jackson Willison, Tim Nanai-Williams
Reserves: Aled de Malmanche, Ben Afeaki, James McGougan, Kevin O'Neill, Romana Graham, Liam Messam, Jack Lam (WTG), Junior Poluleuligaga, Phil Burleigh (WTG), Trent Renata (WTG), Siale Piutau (WTG).
Tanerau Latimer is hoping to be back next week after his knee op so Luke Braid gets a chance to show what he can do. Also big chances for Retallick and Delany to claim a starting spot (although I am pretty sure Foster will stick with Donald at 10).

The signings continue for the Bay of Plenty Steamers, although sevens star Ruki Tipuna isn't yet one of them.
Head coach Sean Horan has confirmed the acquisition of Tasman duo, prop Tristan Moran and hooker Daniel Perrin, along with Waikato lock Luke Katene for this year's squad.
They'll join other big off-season signings in All Black wing Lelia Masaga, Hawke's Bay first-five Dan Waenga and Otago midfielder Brett Mather.
But Tipuna again appears on the outer, despite a dazzling sevens season and his presence in the New Zealand camp in Mount Maunganui this week preparing for the Wellington IRB tournament.
